Hiro Grim
I am sad to hear Japanese artist Hiro Grim passed away at 35. Admittedly, I am new to his work, but I was very impressed by his stark black and white illustrations and cool hand lettering. R.I.P.

The cover for Foundation's epic skate film 'Cataclysmic Abyss' was split in two for 2 limited skateboard decks in 2007. To my surprise, they were featured in a new book on skateboard graphics.
A friend sent me this video clip of Foundation Pro Gareth Stehr speaking from the shadows about the evolution of the Cataclysmic Abyss. Figured now is a good time to post it. I didn't know he drew the original logo:

Artist and curator Rich Jacobs, gathered a group of artists to fill up the gallery walls at the Park Life Gallery in SF for his recent conception called Move:18 - Listen with Your Ears and Eyes Wide Open, This Time. The show is about sound, music, noise and will feature a large range of work including photography, dimensional, paintings and drawings. Some of these works create a lot of sound on their own. Excited about my company here.
